1. Who we are

This website and our limited-run t-shirt drops are operated by Gaming Tee Club Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15448734), with its registered office at 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 6EB ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, used for signing in via a magic link and for service communications.
  • Order information: the design and size you ordered, the amount paid, your delivery name and address, and any tracking details once your order ships.
  • Payment information: collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Mailing list information: if you sign up for drop alerts, we store the email address you give us, the date you signed up, and where on the site you signed up from.
  • Analytics and advertising information: if you consent via our cookie banner, information about how you use the site and whether you arrived from one of our ads. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Technical information:basic information needed to keep you signed in (session cookies) and your cookie-banner choice (stored in your browser's local storage).

3. How we use your information, and our lawful basis

  • To fulfil your order - taking payment, printing and shipping your tee, providing tracking, and handling returns or support requests. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To manage your account - sending magic-link sign-in emails and showing you your orders. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To send drop alerts and marketing emails - telling you when a new drop opens. Lawful basis: consent, which you give by signing up and can withdraw at any time.
  • To ask for a reviewafter you've ordered. Lawful basis: legitimate interests(improving our products and reputation), relying on the "soft opt-in" for existing customers. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure and improve the site and our advertising. Lawful basis: consent, given through our cookie banner.
  • To keep accounting and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

4. Who we share your information with

  • Stripe - to process payments and collect your delivery address securely at checkout.
  • Printify - we share your name, shipping address, and order details with Printify, our print-on-demand and fulfilment partner, so they can print and ship your t-shirt. Printify works with a network of printing and delivery partners and may share your information with them for that purpose. See Printify's Privacy Policy.
  • Klaviyo - our email marketing platform. If you join our mailing list, or place an order, we share your email address and basic order details with Klaviyo so we can send drop announcements and review requests. Klaviyo is based in the United States; transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google - if you consent to analytics and advertising cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads receive information about your visit so we can measure site usage and advertising performance. See our Cookie Policy.
  • Student Beans (Pion) - if you choose to verify your student status, that verification happens with Student Beans and is subject to their own privacy policy. We only receive a discount code, not your student details.
  • Our email delivery provider - to send sign-in links and order-related emails.

We do not sell your personal data, and we only share what is necessary for these providers to perform their services for us.

5. Data retention

  • Order and accounting records: kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK tax law.
  • Account information: kept while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Mailing list: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you, after which we delete your address from our records and from Klaviyo.
  • Analytics data: retained by Google in line with the retention period set on our account.

6. Marketing emails and how to opt out

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough - you don't need to contact us or give a reason. You can also email cs@gamingteeclub.comand we'll remove you.

Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it, and it won't stop essential emails about an order you've already placed, such as your confirmation or tracking details.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at cs@gamingteeclub.com. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to run the site, and - with your consent - for analytics and advertising. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
